To mark the first official day of online voter registration in the state of California.  And uh, because this song will forever be THE JAM.  Shake it, shake it, baby.

Just what the headline says!

Made possible by a 2011 bill authored by Sen. Leland Yee, D-San Francisco, the online system will allow people whose signature is already on file with the state Department of Motor Vehicles to transfer their voter registration form electronically to county elections officials from the secretary of state’s website.

Do not forget, CA residents have until October 22nd to register, and if you are already on file with the DMV, getting registered has just been made even easier.  <cue 2Pac and Dr. Dre’s “California Love”>
