Presenting more flyer options for your Get Out the Vote pleasure!

A couple of weeks ago, we introduced Countmore.org’s awesome set of flyers, table tents, and posters for you to print use liberally.

We’ve gotten a bunch of requests for things to hand out that are more directly related to absentee voting and not just college students.

We happily to present the Long Distance Voter flyers.  Cut on the dotted line and hand out like crazy! (4 per sheet):

Democracy rules!

Every vote counts!

It’s Monday, so you know what that means… Time to update our tiers over at countmore.org

How countmore.org works is we divide the states into four tiers based off of fivethirtyeight.com’s polling data, and those tiers are how our algorithm decides in which state your vote counts more. If you haven’t sat down and played around with the different scenarios yet, you should totally do so. So geeky, yet so fun.

The states that have jumped tiers this week based off of their changing polling data include Colorado, Missouri and Michigan. Colorado and Missouri each jumped up a tier this week, as their polling data suggests they are becoming more competitive. Michigan jumped down a tier, as their polling data suggests they are starting to favor one candidate versus another. However, nothing is a sure victory yet!

What’s great about countmore.org and seeing our data and tiers change is knowing that this is a result of our democracy at work. Regardless of your political views, you have to admit - it’s going to be a close election this November. And it means people are engaged. And it also means that your vote - everyone’s vote - matters and is more important than ever, and can definitely make a difference. How awesome is that?!!

We all know Virgin America is arguably the neatest looking and friendliest airline around.  Its sleek interior design has you feeling like you’ve stepped into an exclusive Berlin nightclub where you know the bouncer, the owner, and the DJ rather than onto a bus with wings.  The newly Banana Republic-clad flight attendants make you look like a schlub by comparison but would never say it to your face.  They are that nice.

Well, VA is continuing to prove they are not your ordinary airline by offering something truly groundbreaking - democracy at 35,000 feet!  Starting this week, in honor of the new route from San Francisco to Washington DC, passengers will be able to REGISTER TO VOTE using the in-air entertainment system, Red, and their own personal smartphone!  Say what?  Being that this is sort of the perfect example of our mission and how simple voter registration can be, we here at Long Distance Voter just got the chills, and it’s not from the recycled cabin air.

Well? he murmured, absently. So declare the women of the Rescue Guild. The members of the Coupling left no stone unturned to profit over from Ferdinand the Electorate of Saxony, which was destined to Austrian interests; they exemplified to this court…

Make sure to register so you can vote for (or against) your favorite (or hated) candidates.

OK, last FNL post for the day. As you can see, Coach Taylor expects the world of his players. They’re like sons to him, and not registering to vote is not an option.

Happy Friday, y’all! (4/4)

Sure, there are a few states where you can get away with applying for your absentee ballot before you’re registered. But this isn’t North Dakota. This is Dillon, Texas. And they do things differently here.

Go Panthers! We mean, Lions! …No wait…some Philly school? (¾)
